About JY Transportation

JY Transportation is the freight brokerage division of the JY Group, a family of transportation companies based in New England. The group operates JY Carriers, an asset-based trucking company, and JY Fleet, a truck repair and maintenance provider. JY Transportation extends that foundation, giving shippers access to dependable capacity beyond the reach of a single fleet.

That also makes us an asset-based broker. We book most loads with vetted carriers in our network, but if none of them can take your freight, we'll move it ourselves with our own trucks.

Our experience on the carrier side informs how we operate. We understand equipment, driver schedules, and the operational factors that cause delays. This allows us to select carriers with proven performance, provide realistic transit times, and communicate promptly and transparently when a shipment is affected.

We arrange freight across a broad range of industries, including food and beverage, retail, and industrial manufacturing. Each shipment is matched with a vetted carrier and monitored from pickup to delivery. Our team is deliberately focused, so customers work with the same dedicated contacts who know their accounts and requirements.
